Doula Support Services
All doula support is individualized by a client’s needs and desires for support as well as where they are in their pregnancy journey.
prenatal support
One or more visits while you are pregnant offers the opportunity for us to build a relationship, support you through the waves of pregnancy and prepare for your birth, postpartum, and parenting journey.
Birth preparation topics include what to expect at your birth setting, your birth preferences, when I will join you for in-person labor support, what role I will play on your birth team, labor movement and positions, comfort measures, pain coping techniques, your rights, and advocacy strategies.
Postpartum topics include the role of rest, nutrition, movement, community, bodywork, and mindfulness in postpartum recovery, lactation education, newborn care, and planing for what role I will play in your postpartum journey.
I will provide evidence-based information, referrals, and resource connections when relevant and upon request.

postpartum support
Within the first week after birth I will meet you where you are to hold space for processing your birth experience, supporting physical recovery postpartum, addressing lactation and infant feeding challenges, answering questions, and making appropriate referrals.
Follow up visits focus on enhancing your postpartum recovery and nursing experience by uplifting your rest, nourishment, and connection with community.
Postpartum care includes holding space for the full spectrum of emotions, mental health check ins, nursing support, cooking, cleaning, baby care, referrals and resource connection.
Most postpartum visits occur within the first three months after the end of a pregnancy. Nevertheless, I will be available for support up to one year after your birth, providing check-ins during developmental leaps and for additional visits as needed.

The consultation is like a first date where we will explore if what you are seeking and what I am offering is a good match.
We will discuss what a doula is, what doula support you are seeking, what doula support I can offer, and what you are looking for in a doula.
-
If you wish to partner with me, I will send you an intake packet with my Intake, Mutual Agreements, and Consent to Bill Insurance Forms to complete before our first visit.

In our initial visit we will go in depth into where you are at in your pregnancy experience, identify what your needs are, and shape a doula care plan just for you.
